การสืบทอดและการดำรงอยู่ของพิธีกรรมการฟ้อนผีมดผีเม็งลานนาจังหวัดลำปาง

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการผลิตซ้ำเพื่อการสืบทอดและการดำรงอยู่ประเพณีการฟ้อนผีมดผีเม็งผ่านพิธีกรรม โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านประเพณีการฟ้อนผีมดผีเม็ง ประชาชนในจังหวัดลำปางและประชาชนทั่วไปด้วยการสัมภาษณ์เจาะลึก การสัมภาษณ์แบบไม่เป็นทางการ การสังเกตแบบมีส่วนร่วมและไม่มีส่วนร่วม ร่วมกับการศึกษาจากเอกสารทางวิชาการ ตำนานและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า คุณลักษณะด้านผู้จัดงาน ผู้เข้าร่วมงาน พิธีกรรม เครื่องสักการบูชา เครื่องแต่งกาย เครื่องดนตรี สถานที่ เวลา การแสดงศิลปวัฒนธรรม บทบาทหน้าที่ ความหมายของพิธีกรรมการฟ้อนผีมดผีเม็งจะอยู่ในลักษณะของการผสมผสาน การต่อรองและการปรับประสานทางวัฒนธรรม การดำรงอยู่ของประเพณีการฟ้อนผีมดผีเม็งคือ การเปลี่ยนแปลงไปตามของบริบทชุมชน บทบาทหน้าที่ที่ยังคงสืบเนื่องมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน ได้แก่ หน้าที่ในการสืบทอดความเชื่อ หน้าที่สร้างภราดรภาพและความเป็นปึกแผ่น หน้าที่สร้างและสืบทอดอัตลักษณ์ตัวตน หน้าที่สร้างความอบอุ่นและความมั่นคงทางจิตใจ หน้าที่ให้ความบันเทิง หน้าที่ปลอบขวัญและคลายความกังวล หน้าที่ในการสร้างความรู้สึกร่วม และหน้าที่ใหม่ ได้แก่ หน้าที่เป็นพื้นที่/ช่องทางในการสื่อสารการเมือง หน้าที่เป็นพื้นที่ในการเรียนรู้ระหว่างกลุ่มและระหว่างรุ่นและหน้าที่เป็นช่องทาง/ประตูไปสู่สื่อพื้นบ้านประเภทอื่น การสื่อสารวัฒนธรรมในชุมชนมีการมองวัฒนธรรมเป็นกระบวนการ เป็นการทำงานแบบเคารพสิทธิของเจ้าของวัฒนธรรมและมองการสืบทอดและการดำรงอยู่ประเพณี     การฟ้อนผีมดผีเม็งผ่านพิธีกรรมแบบมีพลวัต

Abstract

This research aimed to study reproduction for preservation and existence “Phee Mod Phee Meng” tradition through legends and rites from past to present by applying qualitative research methodology. Data processing of the dissertation was investigated by in-depth interview to “Phee Mod Phee Meng” tradition experts, Lampang people and general people. Moreover, information interview, participant observation and non-participant observation along with study of academic document, legends and relevant research were used as well.

The research found that qualification of organizers, guests, rites, enshrining sets, costume, musical instruments, places, occasions, art and cultural exhibitions, roles, meaning of this tradition are in the nature of blending, it was found that interaction was in style of hybridizations, negotiation and accommodations. The existence of“Phee Mod Phee Meng” tradition has changed according to the context of the community.  The functions still continue today, to inherit the belief, to build the fraternity and unity, to construct and maintain the self-identity, to provide the moral support and internal security, to entertain, to pacify and relieve the tension, to consolidate the collective felling and the new function to channel the communication of politic, to be room for sharing experiences and knowledge among the several groups and generations, and to link up with all kinds of folklore media. The cultural communication of community, it obviously explains the cultural as the process which respects the rights of the owners of the mentioned and also identifies the function of the traditional “Phee Mod Phee Meng”as the dynamic process.
